Walt Disney World ending Express Transportation Service

Walt Disney World is ending its Express Transportation service which was offered to guests visiting the four theme parks. The service will end on Wednesday August 23, with guests having the last option to purchase this service on Wednesday August 16.
According to Disney, while Guests who used Express Transportation enjoyed the convenience, more Guests preferred other forms of transportation.
Although we are sad to see this service go (we used it in April) it is understandable now that the Minnie Vans have been launched. The main selling point for Express Transportation was that you didn’t need to go to security again. We tried this and it saved us a lot of time. Guests using a Minnie Van still have to go through security.
