In the last few months Pop Century at the Walt Disney Resort has been seeing an extensive refurbishment. And since last week, guests are checking into the newly renovated rooms. Namaste at Disney received some photos of a guests who was able to stay at one of the new rooms and they do looks stylish. Click the link in the description for more photos.

Bottomless Mimosas Available at Walt Disney World’s The Wavehttp://thisweekdisney.com/mIpQf
The Wave at Disney’s Contemporary Resort added a new menu option; bottomless mimosas. The bottomless mimosas are available as one of the morning cocktails at the restaurant while you are enjoying breakfast or brunch. This new drink special is available for only $16.

Guests looking into using Memory Maker should know that the price for this add-on has been increased. Memory Maker in Advance has increased from $149 to $169. The advance purchase will not allow you to use Memory Maker the first three days after purchase, hence it being named advance. In case you want to use Memory Maker immediately after purchase, the price of that add-on increase from $169 to $199.

Disney Automatically Locking All Accounts That Attempt to Cheat FastPass Systemhttp://thisweekdisney.com/39UM-
Guests that have been using the loophole in the Fastpass System that allowed them to use a fastpass of a ticket that was not used to enter the park will now see their account locked at the end of the day. To get your My Disney Experience account unlocked you have to pay Guest Relations a visit. Be prepared to do some explaining

Walt Disney World Offers Discounts to Disney Quest Before it Closes Permanentlyhttp://thisweekdisney.com/9k8tC
Disney Quest will close for good on July 2nd and Disney is offering special discounts to APs and Florida residents. Click on the link in the description to get more details on this offer.

Special Pavilion Dedicated to Star Wars Land at the D23 Expo 2017http://thisweekdisney.com/8jNZB
D23 Expo 2017 will have an entire pavilion dedicated to the Star Wars-themed lands coming to Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This pavilion will also feature a detailed model showcasing the immersive 14-acre lands. Reason enough to attend D23 Expo in Anaheim.

Are Alcoholic and Other Beverage Options Being Added to Disney Dining Plans?http://thisweekdisney.com/UyTor
Nothing official from Disney yet, but rumors have it that guests 21 and older will be able to chose an alcoholic beverage with each meal selection when booking the Disney Dining Plans. Of course non-alcoholic options are still available as well.

Big Thunder Trail at Disneyland Re-Openshttp://thisweekdisney.com/ruzdX
After more than a year of construction, Big Thunder Trail over at Disneyland opened to the public. This trail will have two entries to the upcoming Star Wars Land. The trail itself still has the nice Frontierland theme. Big Thunder Ranch is gone, but some new rock work has been installed. Along the path, there are a few posters hinting Star Wars Land.

With just about three months to go for runDisney Disneyland Paris, bibs-only will go on-sale on June 14th. Where other runDisney events sell out months if not a year before the actual event, the French runDisney team is doing things a bit different. While package deals were already available for quite some time, runners only wanting a bib still had to wait. Good that wait is over now.

Evacuations of Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journeyhttp://thisweekdisney.com/TEPI-
Both Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey have been seeing several evacuations in the last week. One of the evacuations was caused by a fire alarm that was triggered. Let’s hope Disney is able to find the cause of these evacuations and prevent them in the future. As these ride closure for sure do not help with the long waiting times.

Mobile Order On the Way to Five Magic Kingdom Counter Service Restaurantshttp://thisweekdisney.com/RfcvP
With the opening of Pandora, A World of Avatar, Disney started adding Mobile order to Counter Service Restaurants. Last week saw the addition of Pizzafari and now five Magic Kingdom Counter Service locations will be added; Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, Pinocchio Village Haus, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe, and Columbia Harbour House.

Adventureland In Disneyland Park To See Closures and Renovations to Decrease Crowd Congestionhttp://thisweekdisney.com/Xg7cb
If you have been to Disneyland Anaheim, you know that Adventureland is always heavily congested, and this is about to change. Chip and Co is reporting that major changes are coming to that area with shops being relocated and Bengal Barbecue losing its outdoor seating but getting indoor seating with air conditioning. All this leading up to the re-opening of Fantasmic later this summer.
