TEA and Aecom have published their annual Amusement/Theme Park attendance numbers for 2016 across the world. Overall there was a 1.1% decline of guests visiting Amusement/Theme Parks. Unfortunately Disney took a hit across the board. Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris saw the biggest decline with 14.2%. This mainly due to the unrest in the Paris region of the last year. Hong Kong Disneyland also saw a decline of about 10%. Shanghai Disneyland, a new comer on this list contributed positively to the attendance numbers at Disney parks, adding 5.6 million visitors, basically evening out any loss of visitors Disney had at any of the other parks. In total the number of visitors for Disney parks grew with 1.8%, bringing it to a whopping 140 million worldwide. Let’s hope that the addition of Avatar land, Star Wars land, Toy Story land, the 25th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris and the proposed massive overhaul at Hong Kong Disneyland will counteract the increase of ticket prices and competition. Still, Disney holds 7 out 10 spots in the top 10, including number 1, 2 and 3. http://thisweekdisney.com/-3aPm

After Mobile Food Ordering was premiered at Satu’li with the opening of Pandora, Disney is getting ready to expand this service. According to Streaming the Magic, a guest received a phone call at night asking for their credit card details. When the guest mentioned she would resolve it in the morning and visited the front desk, she was made aware that everything was fine with here credit card on file, and that the front desk would never call a guest after 10.30p. Subsequently the front desk CM also mentioned that they have experienced it before where random people call the front desk to be patched through to a room number in the hope they can lure guests into giving out their credit card details. When such a thing happens, visit the front desk and resolve it with the staff there. This not only applies to Disney Resort hotels, but any hotel you might be staying at. http://thisweekdisney.com/jkrZH
