Turnstiles with RFID capabilities installed at Disneyland ParisPublished: June 7, 2017 / Last Updated: June 7, 2017 / By: Arvid Bux
Thanks to photos shared by ED92, we got a closer look at new turnstiles that have been installed at Disneyland Paris, in specific Walt Disney Studios. These turnstiles seem to have RFID capabilities. A few months ago, some hotel room keys were outfitted with RFID which means that they could potentially be used to also access the parks. Current park tickets still require a QR/barcode reader.
It is understandable that fans are getting excited that Disneyland Paris might be getting magicbands. But while not officially confirmed not denied, it has been said that magicbands won’t be making an appearance at Disneyland Paris (anytime soon).
