Everything coming to Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel

With the video where Imagineer Sylvie Massara explains what is coming to Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel we also learned some more details on what to expect.

Marvel Art

Throughout the hotel guests can experience unique and one-of-a-kind Marvel Super Hero Artwork. The lobby will have 10 pieces of exclusive artwork. Guests will also see large windows with Ironman’s armours and Captain America’s shield.

Rooms

The hotel will have 536 rooms, with 23 suites and two presidential suites. Seven of the suites will be inspired by Spider-Man. Eight suites will have an Avengers theme. Each floor will be dedicated to a Superhero.

Drinks and Dinning

There will be two restaurants, a lounge and two bars.

In the Downtown Restaurant there will be three buffets. The restaurant will be in urban style, giving you the feeling you are in a deli in the heart of Manhattan. The other restaurant will be Manhattan Restaurant with will have table service and Italian dishes. Guests staying at the Empire State Club, will have access to the Empire State Lounge.

There will be two bars in the hotel; Skyline Bar and Bleecker Street Lounge. The Skyline Bar will show a panorama which features the Avengers tower. On the other side guests can walk into the Bleecker Street Lounge. The name evokes the New York street with the Sanctum Sanctorum of Doctor Strange.

Activities

At the Super Hero Station guests can have a ‘super experience’ and meet their favorite Marvel characters. There are also swimming pools, both covered and open-air. A fitness room will help you become a Super Hero of your own. Outside guests can also find a multi-sport area which features a gigantic work of art on the ground, like the ones you see in New York.

For the mini Super Heroes

For the young super heroes there is the Marvel Design Studio where they can learn to draw a Marvel Super Hero. And of course they always visit the Super Hero Station which will be have several immersive experiences.

There will also be an activity book which gives them the opportunity to discover the various works of art in the hotel while having fun.

Opening Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel

No exact date has been given, but Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is slated to open in 2021.
