10 Million Visitors ‘In Next Few Days’ for Shanghai Disney Resort

The day before the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean at Shangai Disney Resort, the Walt Disney Company announced that the resort is getting close to its 10 millionth visitors. Disney itself is also confident about hitting the milestone, with Robert Iger, chairman, saying the park will welcome its 10 millionth guest “in the next few days.”
“The addition of the new Toy Story Land will add to the park’s popularity, and it’s just the first of several planned expansions in Shanghai,” Iger added.
This news comes just months after the resort passed the 8 million guests milestone, and a about a month before its first anniversary.
