Published: marzo 26, 2021 / Last Updated: marzo 26, 2021 / By: Arvid Bux
March 26, 2017 saw the opening of Star Tours: The Adventure Continues. The original Star Tours which opened alongside Disneyland Park back in April 12, 1992 closed for refurbishment on March 16, 2016.
Completely redesigned as Star Tours: The Adventure Continues for Disneyland Paris’ 25th anniversary celebrations, the legendary Star Tours attraction thrusts passengers into a new experience on the Starspeeder 1000, transporting them on a wild and unpredictable journey to the four corners of the galaxy. Using fully immersive, futuristic technologies, the universe’s most famous travel agency no longer offers just a one-way ticket to Endor.
60 possible mission combinations
There are now more than 60 possible mission combinations across the worlds of every episode in the saga. Every time a new movie is released, new sequences will be added, providing even more variations to the experience.
Tribute to the Star Wars Universe
Keep your eyes peeled: The attraction is a true tribute to the Star Wars universe and is full of allusions to its history. Inspired by the opening sequence of the very first movie of the saga, A New Hope (1977), upon entering the corridor leading to the astroport, Guests are immediately reminded of the film. If you listen carefully to the Astroport Interstellar Services announcements, you will probably recognize the names of some of the iconic characters and too, saga creators and actors. Plus, as you stand in line, you’ll spot Rex, the Starspeeder 3000 robot pilot as well as ROX-N, the electronic hostess who greeted Guests at Star Traders. Both are from the first version of the attraction.
