Luca-Themenzimmer eröffnet im Bella Notte Disneyland Paris

Im Fantasyland wurde der Luca-Raum im Bella Notte für die Öffentlichkeit geöffnet. Dieser neue Speisesaal, der das Fantasia Gelati ersetzt, ist eine Erweiterung der Pizzeria Bella Notte, die als Hommage an Italien mit Anspielungen auf zwei klassische Disney-Geschichten dient: “Lady and the Tramp” und “Fantasia”. Imagineers nutzten die Gelegenheit, die storytelling zu erweitern, indem sie die Atmosphäre und die Wärme der italienischen Riviera heraufbeschworen und es Disney und Pixars “Luca” ermöglichten, gleichzeitig für Furore zu sorgen!
Um die Authentizität zu gewährleisten, arbeiteten Imagineers eng mit den Pixar-Künstlern zusammen, um Lucas Welt während des gesamten Projekts zu erweitern. Gemeinsam entwickelten sie ein exklusives Wandgemälde mit dem beliebten Seeungeheuer an den Ufern von Portorosso, das den Mittelpunkt der neuen Geschichte bildet.
Die Teams von Walt Disney Imagineering Paris haben sich von den Werkstätten inspirieren lassen, in denen die Fischer ihre Boote reparieren. Der Innenbereich wurde umfunktioniert, um die Dorfbewohner zu empfangen und ist der perfekte Ort, um italienische Spezialitäten zu genießen! Die Liebe zum Detail ist überall spürbar: Mehr als 60 Requisiten und Accessoires wurden speziell für diesen neuen Raum entwickelt, die sich alle um die lokale Fischereikultur und Küche drehen. Darin enthalten sind alle Lieblingszutaten und Kochutensilien von Chefkoch Massimo für die Nudelherstellung! Die Gäste werden auch den Taucherhelm sehen, mit dem Luca das Rennen um den Portorosso Cup gewonnen hat!
Das nautische Thema beschränkt sich nicht nur auf den Innenbereich, sondern findet sich auch an der Außenfassade wieder. Halte Ausschau, denn die Imagineers haben einige Anspielungen auf “It’s a small world”, das gleich um die Ecke liegt und am 5. Mai wiedereröffnet wird, sorgfältig ausgearbeitet! Eine weitere passende Hommage an Mary Blairs Arbeit ist das Bodenmosaik im ursprünglichen Außenhof der Pizzeria Bella Notte, das Teile eines längst vergessenen Wandgemäldes enthält, das sie für das Tomorrowland in Disneyland entworfen hat.
