Jungle Book Jive debuteerde tijdens het Lion King en Jungle Festival in 2019. Deze fan-favoriet brengt je favoriete Disney Characters, dansen, zingen en dagvuurwerk samen. In ongeveer 25 minuten wordt u meegenomen op een reis door de jungle.

Wat is Jungle Book Jive

Disneyland Parijs beschrijft de show als volgt:

Gooi je handen in de lucht en ‘oobee doo’ tijdens deze geliefde en verbluffend opnieuw verbeelde muzikale reis door de Indiase jungle. Denk je dat je The Jungle Book kent? Denk daar maar eens over na, want de fantastische praalwagens, waaronder een roze en gele olifant van trommels, geven een spectaculair kleurrijk tintje aan dit klassieke Disney-verhaal. Natuurlijk zijn Baloo, King Louie en hun vrienden weer terug, zingend en dansend op enkele van de grootste Disney-liedjes, terwijl ontdekkingsreiziger Mickey en zijn bemanning een mysterieus land herontdekken.

Hoe Jungle Book Jive te kijken

Op dit moment wordt de Lineberty app gebruikt voor virtuele wachtrijen. De rij gaat twee uur voor aanvang van de voorstelling open. U hoeft niet in de buurt van het theater te zijn om Lineberty te gebruiken, maar het is wel aan te raden om in het park te zijn. De capaciteit is beperkt in verband met gezondheids- en veiligheidsmaatregelen.

De Jungle Boek Jive door de jaren heen

Vanwege de Corona Pandemie en de sluiting werd Disney’s Lion King en Jungle Festival in 2020 geannuleerd. Niettemin was The Jungle Book Jive gepland om beschikbaar te zijn als een op zichzelf staand aanbod. Deze keer zou de show niet plaatsvinden in het Disneyland Park, maar zou hij de Stuntshow in het Walt Disney Studios Park vervangen.

Terwijl de show in première ging en een week lang voorstellingen had, werden vanaf de tweede week alle voorstellingen geannuleerd. Op dinsdag 8 september werd bekend dat The Jungle Book Jive niet zou terugkeren voor het seizoen 2020.
