#OnThisDay 21 years ago, 1995, Space Mountain was inaugurated at Disneyland Paris. Ever since the opening it has been one of the favorite rides of guests.
Originally the ride had the name: Space Mountain: De la Terre à la Lune. In January 2005 it was closed and received a huge remodel. On April 9th 2005 the ride opened with several upgrades and a new name: Space Mountain: Mission 2.
