Zijn geschiedenis is nauw verbonden met de ontwikkeling van de spoorweg. Er zijn zelfs metalen trappen die rechtstreeks ge\u00efnspireerd zijn op de verhoogde, eind 19e-eeuwse treinrails van New York.<\/p>\n<p>Wat de imaginaire kant betreft, deze leent gemakkelijk van andere Disney Parken terwijl de specifieke geschiedenis van Disneyland Parijs wordt versterkt. De structuur van het station, dat de trein aan weerszijden omringt, heeft veel weg van de attractie &#8220;It&#8217;s a small world&#8221; van Disneyland Resort, waar de Disneyland Railroad tussen de klokkentoren en het hoofdgebouw doorgaat, een detail dat ook in Disneyland Parijs te vinden is. Affiches en glas-in-lood ramen met de verschillende Landen zijn uitnodigingen om te reizen, een voorproefje van de ervaringen die de ontdekkingsreizigers te wachten staan. Dit uitgestrekte panorama, bijna 80 meter lang, toont verschillende aspecten van het spectaculaire UNESCO-werelderfgoed. We ontdekken wilde dieren (meer dan 40 dieren), flora en oude Amerindiaanse Troglodytische woningen, terwijl de geluids- en lichteffecten &#8211; zoals een storm en een regenboog &#8211; het realisme van elk detail completeren.<\/p><div class=\"trave-content trave-entity-placement\" id=\"trave-3347177518\"><div id=\"trave-755859386\" class=\"gas_fallback-ad_104192--placement_105828\"><!--noptimize--><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-1598899063104014\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1598899063104014\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"8620325326\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<!--\/noptimize--><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Het Grand Canyon Diorama is ge\u00efnspireerd op zowel de Oscarwinnende Disney-film Grand Canyon uit 1958 als op het diorama dat in datzelfde jaar in Disneyland Resort werd gebouwd. De &#8220;Imagineers&#8221; die de leiding hadden over het project voor Disneyland Parijs, onder leiding van Jeff Burke, bezochten de backstage toen zij daar de oorspronkelijke plannen van het Amerikaanse model gingen bekijken. Om het diorama te cre\u00ebren, gebruikten zij ook de muziek die zowel in de film als in de attractie voorkomt, de Grand Canyon Suite van de Amerikaanse componist Ferde Grof\u00e9 (1892-1972). Zoals de naam al doet vermoeden, is de halte Frontierland niet per se een treinstation. Ten tijde van de bouw in 1865 vergemakkelijkte de locatie de verplaatsing van vee van de schuur naar de veewagens. Tegenwoordig vervoert de Disneyland Railroad alleen passagiers, maar de oude Critter Corral en het schuurvormige Cowboy Cookout Barbecue restaurant die voorbij het station te zien zijn, herinneren nog aan de oorspronkelijke functie ervan.<\/p>\n<p>Dankzij de samenwerking van architect Ahmad Jafari en ontwerper Pat Burke is Frontierland Depot bijna een exacte replica van het allereerste Frontierland Station in Disneyland Resort in Californi\u00eb. Het is een manier om deze historische plek, die in 1966 werd omgetoverd voor de opening van New Orleans Square, weer tot leven te brengen.
