Christmas Disneyland Paris 2017: What to expect

Christmas at Disneyland Paris or Disney’s Enchanted Christmas is the most magical time of the year to be at the parks. The decorations, music, parades, shows and your beloved Disney characters in their Christmas outfit, might make you wish it would be Christmas all year long.

Christmas Disneyland Paris 2017: What to expect

At the moment we are still confirming details on the 2017 program. But some things have been announced. As the 25th anniversary is still underway, the full offering will be different from Christmas 2016.

Christmas Disneyland Paris 2017: Dates

Disney’s Enchanted Christmas at Disneyland Paris will take place from November 11 2017 to January 7 2018. Although the program will be the same every day, times might be different depending on whether it is a weekday or weekend. From December 25, Santa will no longer be at the park as he will be back at the North Pole, taking some well deserved rest.

Christmas Parade

The Christmas Parade will return in 2017. It is not known whether there will be new floats added like last year, but last year’s parade will still be as amazing as it is. The Christmas Parade will run twice a day, alongside the once a day appearance of Disney Stars on Parade.

A Merry Stitchmas

Several times a day, Stitch will host a new show at the Royal Castle stage in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Mickey, Minnie and their friends will teach Stitch the meaning of Christmas by singing songs. Mickey presents: Happy Anniversary Disneyland Paris is replaced by A Merry Stitchmas during the Christmas season and will return on January 8 2018.

Christmas Big Band

Mickey and Minnie will be joined by a Jazz Big Band and perform a live Christmas Concert. This show will take place several times at day at the Videopolis. Christmas Big Band seems to be a remake of last year’s Jingle Bell Band.

Mickey’s Magical Christmas Lights – Tree Lighting Ceremony

A great way to start the evening at Disneyland Paris Park is to attend the Tree Lighting Ceremony which takes place several times each night at Town Square.

A fabulous Frozen Sing-along and a Royal Welcome

Christmas is winter, and winter means Frozen. During the 2017 holiday season, Olaf, Elsa, Anna and Kristoff make sure you sing along with all your favorite Frozen songs. At the Chaparral Theater guests sing along while Anna prepares for a big party for Elsa.

When they are not in the theater, Anna and Elsa make their way down the parade route to welcome everybody to the park.

The Enchanted Advent Calendar

Every morning from December 1 until December 25, you’ll have the chance to awaken the magic of Christmas at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle with a captivating event.

Meet ‘n Greet

Throughout Disneyland Park you will have the opportunity to meet your favorite Disney Characters in their Christmas outfits. You’ll have the chance to meet Marie from the Aristocats, Scrooge McDuck, Thumper, Miss Bunny and more! Santa will be waiting for you at Meet Mickey near the Fantasyland station.

Walt Disney Studios

With the 25th Anniversary in full swing at the Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios is receiving a lot more love this Christmas season with “A truly Goofy Christmas”.

Confirming the earlier rumors, the Hollywood Tower Hotel will be the focal point for a new evening projection show called: Goofy’s Incredible Christmas. This new show will feature your favorite Disney Characters and will tell the Christmas Story.

Sing A Merry Christmas

Several times a day, the Production Courtyard stage – located at the foot of
the Hollywood Tower Hotel – will host a huge musical production featuring some of the most famous Disney Characters. Mickey, Minnie and their friends will host a new musical show. During this show they will sing famous Christmas songs.

Meet ‘n Greet

Throughout Walt Disney Studios you will have the opportunity to meet your favorite Disney Characters in their Christmas outfits.
